This Privacy and Cookies Policy applies to:

(“the Sites”) which are run by Communicate SLT CIC (“the Company”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 08398194, of Lancaster House, Amy Johnson Way, BLACKPOOL, FY4 2RP. On our sites, the Company is referred to as “Communicate”.

We take your data protection seriously, and this Privacy Policy is designed to explain how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website.

  • Book training, register and take part in eLearning or request a place on our family groups
  • Provide feedback about our services

All of this information is provided directly by you.  If you decide not to provide relevant information, this may hinder our ability to respond to your visit to our website efficiently and may mean that we will not be able take any further action to support your enquiry.

How will we use the information we collect?

The data provided by you will processed for legitimate business and/or contractual reasons:

  • To respond to your enquiry or provide the services that you have requested
  • To process payments made
  • To send you information that you request from us relating to our products and services

Communicate SLT CIC enters into contracts with organisations which subsidise training for specified users, e.g. a Local Authority may commission Communicate SLT to provide training for their volunteers and workforce or a Teaching School might subsidise training for schools within their alliance. In these circumstances, Communicate SLT may be required to collate, hold and share information with them relating to training booking, attendance/access and feedback. By requesting future communication updates from Communicate SLT, you are providing your consent for us to communicate with you in this way.  You are able to opt out of these communications at any time.  If you no longer wish to be contacted you can let us know by responding to our correspondence with 'unsubscribe' in the subject box or by emailing enquire@communicate-slt.org.uk.

We may also use your site usage information to improve our website, understand how you use our site, and provide more relevant content to you.

Your personal information may also be made available to third parties (within or outside the Company) providing relevant services under contract to the Company, such as the providers of payment services and IT hosting and IT maintenance providers.
