What is WellComm Data Analysis and Target Setting?

The WellComm Early Years toolkit enables you to quickly and easily identify children aged 6 months to 6 years who may benefit from speech and language support and then the ‘Big Book of Ideas’ details play-based activities to support children’s speech, language and communication development.

 This course is an introduction to analysing the WellComm screening data for individuals and as a whole setting to enable a robust intervention plan to be devised based upon the speech, language and communication needs identified during the WellComm screening. This will give ideas about how to monitor and measure the impact of the early intervention implemented to support the speech, language and communication needs within the setting.

WellComm toolkits enable quick and easy identification of children needing speech and language support, making a crucial difference to confidence and attainment. The screening, analysis and intervention is:
