Meet Lauren McGuire

Communication Practitioner

I was born in Blackpool and studied early years development at Blackpool and the Fylde College for 2 years.
I have previously worked in early years settings around Blackpool & Fylde for 9 years, during this time I became a Communication Champion and this is where my interest in speech and language began.

I started working for Communicate as a Communication Practitioner in January 2018, currently I work with families with young children in the home, children’s centres and out in the community. I love my job because every day is different.

Working in Early Years has always been a passion of mine, I believe it’s the most rewarding job there is! I love learning new things and have studied many interesting topics such as Brain Science, Attachment Theory and Sign Language.

In my spare time I love socialising, travelling and all things food!
